Features
- Versatile survey format
There are virtually no limits to the question/answer format and general structure of the survey. The user has ten different question types that include single and multiple choice, drop-down menus, open ended, matrix, date and time and image choice. Each becomes useful for particular feedbacks for the respondents. - Conditional logic
The user may choose to show/hide a question based on the answer(s) for a previous question. This leads to a survey based on a customized logical workflow, with optimized survey results. - Required answers
Respondents will have to answer required questions in order to finish taking survey. This is equivalent to a directed survey that emphasizes particular issues in question. - Randomize options
You may randomize a question's options in order to eliminate unintended bias (error caused by systematically favoring some outcomes over others). - Template surveys
Created surveys can be saved and used as the typological basis for other surveys in the same category. As such, a new template can be created from an existing satisfaction, marketing, human resource, services, academic, research or community template for example. - Customized accessibility
Depending on the targeted group of respondents, access to a survey can be restricted to authenticated users or may require an authentication code, automatically generated the survey is launched. If the survey targets a general audience, then the survey will be set as public. This directed accessibility completes the customization level within the application and allows the user to target limited groups of respondents. - Multiple filters on the results page
Filters can always be useful when only a part of the survey is to be used in the current analysis. This can range anywhere from a specific section of the survey to a specific groups of respondents. A series of filters can be applied on the results page to concentrate the analysis on specific responses and trigger the appropriate decision for a certain segment of respondents. - Custom finish page
The survey can be customized so as to take the respondent to a particular webpage when finishing the survey or to show a customized thank you page. - Exports
Results may be exported as a CSV file, which can be opened in a spreadsheet application for later statistical operations, or as presentable PDF file. - Highly presentable graphical outputs
The final scope of a survey will be as a premise for further analysis and decisional conclusions. With this scope in mind, EZCensus responds with pie charts and comparative bar charts that allow the user to spot the survey’s results and to produce strategic decisions based on these.
